Grief is a natural part of the process of healing after a loss, participating in grief education classes and individual or group counseling enhances this healing process. While no two people grieve in exactly the same way, for many survivors, a crucial part of healing is the support and sense of connection they feel through sharing their grief with others. Hospice of Hilo’s Bereavement programs provide a safe place to share experience and find support to cope with loss. Individual and family counseling available by appointment.
