CATHOLIC TRADITIONS Explore the Ethnic, Cultural, and Religious Experience at the End-of-Life

Third workshop in the community-based education series, sponsored by Hospice of Hilo. We invite you to explore the varieties of cultural and religious pratice surrounding death and dying that make up Hawaii's rich multi-ethnic environment. The workshop will address the following questions:
What does it mean to be Catholic?
What is the importance of the Sacraments at the end-of-life?
How do Catholics pray for the sick and departed?
Are there differences in the cultural expression at the end-of-life? Hawaiian, Filipino, and Indian Catholic Church.
Hospice of Hilo continues "Sunset Institute" educational end-of-life workshops with this 3rd seminar. $25 workshop registration. Space is limited, early registration is required.
